RIP CHESTER BENNINGTON

OMG not another one………

Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has committed suicide.

TMZ reports the 41-year-old hanged himself at a private home in Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Law enforcement officials say his body was found shortly before 9am.

The singer had a history of drug and alcohol abuse.

He had six children from his two marriages. He had been married to model Talinda Ann Bentley for 12 years.

Bennington was a close friend of Soundgarden rocker Chris Cornell who hanged himself in May.

Chester and Linkin Park guitarist Brad Delson had performed Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah’ for the crowd of mourners at Cornell’s funeral.

      1. I was just talking with my sister about wanting to get tickets for the Linkin Park’s concert on Aug. 7th 😦 I rocked out to Linkin Park when they first hit the scene. My heart breaks for his family and his band. This can’t keep happening.

  3. So sad. I just read this on another bloggers sight. To choose death over life is such a hard thing to fathom, but as was said above, mental illness is so hard to recognize and live with. Rest in Peace Chester and I pray that his children have a lot of support.

  4. Well Susan I’m grieving today as Linkin Park was one of my three favorite bands with Nickelback and Skillet… so yes I’m so, so sad 😦

  5. I really don’t anything about these people, and couldn’t name a single song they sung, but I think the worst tragedy is that, irregardless of his profession, his 12 year old daughter is now forever without her father.
