MY REVIEW:

HER COWBOY WEDDING DATE is the story of Tess Palmer who has two weeks to plan her cousin’s wedding. She gets stuck working with Carter Sloan who is a very grumpy business owner. Carter is the oldest of five boys and they were abandoned by their parents when they were young. They were raised by their grandparents. Tess is widowed and the last thing she is looking for is love. But as she works with Carter she feels her attraction to him growing which is absolutely crazy right? They are complete opposites of each other and both of them have been hurt in the past. Cowboys, weddings, and chocolate! What more could a reader want? Hold on people, it’s going to be a very bumpy but funny ride!

Cari Lynn Webb writes about characters that become real right before your eyes. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. HER COWBOY WEDDING DATE is a heart tugging and wonderful tale and I loved it. I loved how Tess cared so much about her friends and the community. She is always willing to help someone out, can’t say no to anyone and as a result, she is always behind in what she is supposed to be doing. Read the story, you will not regret it! I soon found myself cheering for Tess every time I turned the page. Be forewarned, you will be craving chocolate while reading this heart felt story.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading HER COWBOY WEDDING DATE It is funny and heart warming and filled with so many different emotions. There is so much going on in this story, but Cari Lynn Webb does a wonderful job of weaving all the pieces together. All of the characters will have you feeling sad and then giggling on the same page. More than once I wanted to be on that ranch digging for the buried treasure! The ending was perfect and had me laughing out loud! Once you finish devouring this story, you are going to want to tell everyone you know about this awesome book.

          “How about a trade?” Tess aimed her wide smile at him, grabbed his hand and squeezed.

          Her smile lit in her gaze, drawing Carter into her impossibly round eyes. Inviting him to fall in.

          “I’ll bring the butter pecan fudge in exchange for more wedding planning.” She added, “See you tomorrow morning.”

          “Looking forward to it.” And he was. And that was slightly troubling. Carter let her fingers slip from his grip, then watched her climb out of his truck.

          The single life suited him extremely well. He was in fact exceedingly content as a bachelor. But there was something about Tess that made him reconsider. Fortunately, it was as fleeting as the delicate scent of her dusk-laced perfume in his truck cab.

          Still, Carter had to be vigilant. Cautious. Or before he knew it, he’d have her hand back in his and holes in his heart.
