GOOD MORNING 🌞

Good morning! Its 67 here, going up to 90! We are heading down to Charlotte inΒ  bit for an anesthesiologist appointment. Its just to meet them, not for surgery yet.Β  My husband, Brian, is having his shoulder replaced.Β  He has had four torn rotator cuff surgeries over the years, two on each side and that is no longer an option.Β  His surgery is supposed to be June 2nd. Yes, I am a bit freaked out about all of this.Β  Anyway, Have a terrific Thursday my friends!πŸ’œ

    1. Thank you Paola. I’m praying that everything works out. I didn’t even know you could have a shoulder replaced.πŸŒžπŸ€—πŸ“šπŸ’œ

  1. I recently recovered (do you ever fully recover?) from a rotator cuff injury, and that was PAINFUL! I hope this shoulder replacement works out for him. Gosh, I remember watching the Bionic Man series and thinking: that can never happen. Never say never! I tend to use acupuncture as a pain relief option, but I didn’t think of it during that time. I was off my head with pain and lack of sleep. Opted for steroids instead, which did help. The physio that I do at least 5 times a week is helping a lot. I watch Bob and Brad on Youtube, or Dr. Rowe, they have amazingly detailed videos on how to do the various exercises required to rehab just about every part of your body.
Friends of mine who have had knee or hip replacements tell me they feel absolutely wonderful after they recover from the surgery. They all had to do physio.
My thoughts, prayers and good vibes are with you and your husband, Susan.

    1. Thank you Susan. They say rotator cuff surgery is the third most painful thing a person can go through, behind child birth and being burned in A fire. I believe that because I sat up with him each time he had the surgery. The surgeon told him the recovery time for replacement is much shorter and not as painful so we will see. He doesn’t really use his arm now. It basically just hangs there. He always says he is the biopic man, but this surgery has scared him. I told him not to watch the video of the surgery!!πŸ˜‚πŸ€—πŸ“šβ˜•πŸ’œ

  2. I didn’t know shoulder replacement was a thing either, but if knee and hip are, then it makes sense. I sure hope it works for Brian. I had rotator cuff surgery about 20 years ago, and it worked for me, thank goodness. I will keep Brian, you and his surgeon in my prayers. So Petey ended up sleeping over last night and woke up 3 times. He actually fell out of bed once. Grandma is tired today. My son is coming over to do some laundry shortly as his dryer died yesterday. It never ends does it? I hope your day goes well. πŸ˜Šβ˜•β€πŸ™

    1. I didn’t know that either Carla! Its kind of weird but he keeps blowing out his rotator cuffs and now there is nothing left. I can’t believe Perry fell out of bed. Was he okay? I bet you must be tired! Enjoy the rest of your day and have a good night!πŸŒžβ˜•πŸ€—πŸ“šπŸ’œπŸŒ»
