HAPPY THURSDAY!☕

Good morning! Happy Thursday! I just placed a huge grocery order and will pick it up in a few hours. People are talking about lock downs again and I’m trying to stock the pantry just in case.   I hope you are all doing well and that you have a terrific day!💜☕💜

  1. Good Morning Susan, stay safe! We are still not completely open up here in Canada. I get my hair cut today, but she only has one customer in her place at a time. I pick up my cheque today, just have to wait for the call. I have a couple of blog tours tomorrow, so have to get those posts done and the second book finished, so it will be a quiet day today. Have a good day, Susan. 😀☕📚🌞💜

    1. Good morning Carla! Happy Thursday! Yay for getting your haircut today! I’m still trying to work up the courage to get mine cut. Its too long and I’m tired of it trying to strangle me while I’m sleeping!🤷😂 Enjoy your quiet time today and good luck getting everything done you want to get done. Have a lovely day my friend!🤗📚🌞☕💜

      1. Thanks Susan. That is why I like that the girl who cuts me has her own salon and works alone. I wouldn’t feel comfortable in a large salon right now. Hopefully, things will not get too bad with these latest cases. 🧓🧡

    2. Good morning Carla I wish my hair was baby fine hair. It won’t hold a curl doesn’t go longer to my shoulders. Good luck with your reading. I am visiting Megs Lanslow’s family, MURDER MOST FOWL. It was excellent. Have a great day and stay safe.

      1. I haven’t read that series Betty, I should give it a try. My hair is so thick, and it grows quickly, but I know it will change as I get older. Have a great day, Betty.

    1. Good morning Michelle! Have a great time at your bible study today! I have no idea about the virus but I’m sure the government shipping all the illegal border crossers all over the country isn’t helping! 🤗📚☕🌞💜

  2. Good morning Susan it is cloudy with a lot of smoke. It reached 105F, yesterday. Thunderstorms are passing through the as along with the smoke. We lost power last night for about 1/2 an hour. It cut us the internet and I find anything the local news. Do you remember those cute designs we embroidery on tea towels? There was a job for every day. Actually use gunny sacks from four. I notice Thursday was the day for several of us to buy groceries. Have a wonderful day.

    1. Good afternoon Betty. Sorry to hear the smoke is back. Just stay inside. No rain for us until Saturday. I remember those tea towels. Do people still do that? Gunny sacks? I’ve never seen one of those but I’ve seen lots of pictures of them!🤷 Have a great day and enjoy your books!🤗📚🌞☕💜

    1. Good afternoon Kim. When a virus mutates isn’t it usually weaker and not stronger. Fauci flip flops so much its no wonder no one listens to what he says. PDJT should have fired him when he had the chance. Anyway, I totally stocked up the past few months just in case. Hope you are having a relaxing day!🤗📚🌞☕❤

      1. That depends Susan. In many cases the mutations are so small that they either make no difference or as you said, they weaken the virus. But that’s not the case here with Delta and the other variants including the even scarier Lambda. As far as Fauci goes, to lay all the blame on him I don’t think is entirely fair. First, information isn’t just coming from him, it the entire scientific community. Second, while there have been previous viruses in the same family, COVID-19 is a horse of a different color, and everyone has been scrambling to keep up. The one thing I fault Fauci and the CDC, etc. for is telling people at the beginning that masks weren’t necessary. Because of that it opened the door for DJT and other politicians and Fox News personalities to make it a political issue rather than the rational and practical one that it is.

  3. Oh no, lockdown again? Your cases are going up badly? Here we seem to now just be living with it but cases keep yo yo’ing but most people are now vaccinated so doubt we’ll have any more lockdowns. Keep safe ❤❤

    1. Hiya Caro! No lockdown yet but its just a feeling I have. I’m not a fan of our so called president and he is in way over his head. Our southern border is wide open and people are coming from all different countries and many of them are sick. Instead of testing them they put them on a bus and dump them all over the country! I’m all for people coming to our country but legally, not this way! Anyway, we are doing good and how are you feeling? I hope you are doing better and Mommy spoiled you rotten!🤗📚🌞☕☕💜
