MY REVIEW:

GUARDED is a suspenseful contemporary Christian story that I was pulled in to from the very first page. To be honest, I fell in love with the cover the minute I saw it. I loved everything about this mysterious story and I’m excited to recommend it to my reading friends. Sara Davison has a way of grabbing her readers and she never lets us go.

GUARDED really takes a turn that will have you unable to put this beautiful story down. Neither Nicole or Daniel are looking for a relationship, but they can’t seem to ignore their growing feelings. Nicole’s husband was killed seven years ago and it has left her broken hearted and raising her six year old son, Jordan alone. Daniel shows up one day and Nicole doesn’t know how she feels about that. He is the detective who was involved with what happened to her husband, Gage all those years ago.

GUARDED is filled with twists and turns and had me staying up way too late one night to finish! I had to know where Sara Davison was taking us and what would happen to Nicole and Daniel. There is so much heart in Sara’s writing that I was left with a huge smile on my face and my heart very happy. I could totally see GUARDED becoming a Lifetime movie and I would love to see it. All of the characters are very interesting and believable, so much so that I felt as if I’ve known them for a long time. I kept wondering if Nicole would ever trust Daniel again after he kept a pretty big secret from her. I’m excited to read more of Sara’s stories!
