Is anyone else having problems leaving comments on other blogs? It has been happening to me today about 90% of the time and it’s driving me crazy! Has anyone ever had this problem before on WordPress?? Do you know if there is somewhere I can go to complain? OHHHHH…….I think I’m just going to give up and read!!

Problems commenting in what way?

I leave a comment, hit post comment and it just disappears……it never posts to the page…..

Could it maybe need to await approval from the author before it appears because of the blog’s settings?

Not having the issue. Maybe try logging out and back in. Sometimes that clears any issues. Good luck.

It could be to do with moderation on the other person’s blog. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Hi Susan, I found I had to upgrade Worpress, because I was having Problems posting. There is a “help” section where you can e-mail for this, but when I have had problems, it takes a hot of “help” -emails for me.. Good luck!

I had this problem a while back, I believe that the vast amount of traffic on WordPress will sometimes make it look like your comments are disappearing but it just takes awhile for them to process and show up. All the comments I believed had disappeared finally showed up on the other blogs. Hope this helps Susan. 🙂

Too funny. But I agree. I don’t get many comments either. I love comments. It means we are interacting. Interaction leads to friends which leads to more book talk. Can anyone disagree with book talk, rather than book review read?

I had this the other day. The comment option just wasn’t there. Also no pictures were showing up. I restated the app and it helped. Hopefully the issue is fixed soon for you as well!

I haven’t had a problem yet, but I just started reading my email and I still have over 300 to go. I might run into the problem yet. ☺☺☺

Hi Susan. Sometimes for no apparent reasons comments start going to the spam folder. If you find a blog you left a comment on, ask the person to check the spam folder and see if it’s there. If so, report that via the forum and someone should be able to help you. If it is that, it usually seems to clear itself up after a few days but it’s very annoying while it’s happening. 🙂
