Holy cow! I just love this series, A Rocky Isle Romance, and THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE is book number four. I have loved this series from the very first book and feel like these five girls are my best girlfriends and we have known each other forever. THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE is a quick read and had me turning the pages with such anticipation. The secondary characters fill in the story perfectly and they will all be your friends before you finish this wonderful story.

Ashley is a local lobster fisherman and has a reputation for being a tough woman. Her close friends know she acts this way to protect her heart, but she is also hiding a secret. She is dyslexic and only her very best girlfriends know that about her. One day she sees a funny dressed man coming off the ferry and can not help herself, she burst out laughing. Well, she has no idea how much this man is about to change her life. THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE is Ashley’s story.

Bart Delaney has come to the island for his cousin Todd’s wedding. While he is there he is instantly taken with Ashley. Ashley thinks he is a dork and refuses to give him the time of day. Bart is a stubborn man and doesn’t take no for an answer. Ashley knows he is very smart and if he knew her secret, he wouldn’t want to be with her. The two of them will have you laughing out loud and snorting with some of their conversations. THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE is the perfect way to spend the afternoon, on your couch with a nice hot beverage, reading away.

Once I started reading THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE I couldn’t stop. I had to find out what was going to happen to Ashley and if she would ever find her happily ever after. Would Ashley ever be able to tell Bart her secret that was holding her back from loving him? As I was reading THE MAGIC OF THE SUNRISE I felt like I was right there in Maine staring out into the ocean, waiting for Ashley to see what is right there in front of her. I’m excited to read more by Penny Harmon. She writes the stories that my heart loves and devours.
